(She/Her/Hers)I help keep NKD’s finances on track and make sure the numbers tell a useful story. I partner closely with the Project Management team, translating numbers into useful insights on margin performance through management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis.
My favourite NKD learning moment has been seeing how trust and collaboration really pay off — especially when you can feel the team’s genuine care and passion for delivering on the numbers (yes, numbers can be emotional!).

Fun fact: earlier in my career I worked for Cunard Cruise Line in the Caribbean as a Purser, running finance operations and embarkation (speaking Spanish definitely helped).
I’ve been part of NKD since day one, starting back in 2005. I joined our founder Sue after working together previously. In the early days we were a small team, so I wore a few hats – looking after the numbers and helping keep projects on track. That experience shaped how I work today with a strong emphasis on teamwork and being close to the project detail.

After a short break in 2013 when my gorgeous son Charlie arrived, I returned to NKD and my role naturally grew into Project Accountant – combining my love of the numbers with supporting teams and projects.

Projects I’ve worked on
I’ve helped support a margin analysis project by pulling together reports and turning it into clear, visual insights. This made the numbers much easier for the team to get their heads around, helped steer conversations towards what really mattered, and gave people more confidence in discussing and acting on margin performance. Alongside this, I worked on a new project to drive the rollout of an Associate Invoice portal, aimed at replacing a very manual, clunky process. The focus was on making invoice submission and review simpler and quicker, saving time and effort for both our associates and the internal team.
