Laura Cracknell
(She/Her/Hers)I lead NKD’s Marketing strategy, shaping how we show up, tell our story, and reach the right audiences.
My favourite learning moments are often in labs and meetings, where we bring together talented people who care. I often come away energised and full of new ideas.

My experience
I started my Marketing career at NKD. Fresh from completing a Fine Art degree at Newcastle University, I joined the NKD team as an intern for a 3-month placement. I was lucky enough to stay, progress, and build my career here, as well as building a small but mighty team! My background shapes how I approach Marketing – combining creativity, storytelling, and purposeful work.
My focus at NKD is how we deliver our Marketing strategy, working closely with the business to turn ambition into plans we can actually deliver.

I work across all parts of our Marketing and brand presence.
One project that particularly stands out from my career at NKD is our brand refresh. I’m proud to have partnered with Sam Thomas, our Design Director, to have reimagined our brand, bringing to market a clearer visual tone for NKD.

I also work closely with our colleagues and partners overseas to make sure we’re getting NKD in front of the right people across the globe!

I’m very proud to have taken a guiding role in many of NKD’s DEIB and charitable (NKD Kind) initiatives, including partnering with: the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre, 10,000 black interns, Bloody Good Period, and many more.
