Black Lives Matter: Protests and Beyond

Playing our part

Around the world the Black Lives Matter movement has triggered protests in response to the recent killing of an unarmed black man, George Floyd. For many of us right now, protesting against injustice is not possible as we look after our loved ones or ourselves from the Covid-19 outbreak, this does not mean that you can’t show your support.

Sometimes it can feel like we can’t do anything, but change should start with us. Sometimes it can feel uncomfortable, but change could start with moving past comfort zones.

Listening, understanding and empathising is an important part of making a change.

At NKD we have been moved by the wealth of free resources which have been shared via social media platforms, and we feel inspired to do the same. We wanted to share with our external audience a document we have quickly put together for our internal team. If this document is useful, please download and share it within your own organisations – our hope is that this document can be used to spark conversations and be a small step to a meaningful change.
