Strategic alignment

Getting leaders on the same page about your strategic priorities and how to create the culture your business needs to thrive.

Why it’s needed

In one word, ‘accountability’. Ultimately, the success or failure of any business or new initiative rests with its leaders. So, whether it’s continuing to perform at the top of your game or pivoting in a new direction, you need all leaders from front-line supervisors to C-suite to promote your strategy, communicate a consistent message, support each other, and personally commit to making it work in their operations, functions and teams.

Participants will learn and develop skills to
  • Create achievable and energising strategies
  • Build confidence in your strategic direction
  • Communicate purpose and strategy in a clear, motivating way
  • Support each other rather than work in silos
  • Demonstrate positive, consistent leadership behaviours
  • Foster a culture where people feel included and safe to try our new ways of working

Who would benefit from this training

There are versions of strategic alignment for all levels of leadership. At the senior level, we’re setting the strategy or piecing together how to activate or communicate the strategy, the aim is to get them feeling inspired and empowered to activate lasting change. At the team leadership level, we’re looking to embed strategy through everyday operations and working practices.

Often, strategic alignment transitions towards brand internalisation, so that everyone in your business is motivated and clear about their contribution.

Why does it work

Transformational change starts and ends with leadership. By aligning and emotionally engaging your leadership team with the organisational vision, you can embed strategy throughout the company. By creating a sense that ‘we are in this together’ leaders become more respectful and supportive of each other. And by targeting all leadership levels we open up lines of enquiry, foster relationships and promote a learning culture that makes your business more adaptable.
